Like a gene in Jews that make them like liver? Alstro are you part Jewish?

Yes, but I don't think it's a gene, I think it's familiarity from childhood. Chopped liver was served fairly often. My grandmother made it from scratch. My brothers don't like chicken liver as much as I do. It was in my regular dinner rotation when I was working poor in my 20s. Now that I buy unicorn liver (er, livers from free-range, organic, yada yada chickens from Whole Paycheck) it isn;t so cheap.

I don't think I'd care for the fishy taste of canned tuna if I hadn't grown up with it, or the texture of clams, or the bitterness of cooked greens like kale.
