Yes! Exactly - a lot more of that. But targeted to where the vaccine-hesitant communities are now.

That money was awarded in June and July - half in large grants that served big organizations, and half in smaller grants that went to local community groups. You can see where it went here:

About 2/3 of the local money went to blue states; nearly all of the large grants went to organizations in blue states or that focus primarily on the health of minority communities. Those allocations have almost certainly made a huge difference in erasing the gap in minority group vaccination rates. It shows how these types of efforts can really work.

Time for more funding where the unvaccinated are now.
