Walmart dumps e-cigarettes: Largest store in America will no longer sell vaping products amid growing health fears as death toll in the US hits EIGHT

On Friday Walmart announced it will stop selling e-cigarettes and related goods

Eight people have died and 530 suspected cases of severe vaping-linked illness have been reported

Several TV networks have stopped advertising the products

Michigan and New York have banned flavored vapes

The nation's largest retailer will sell its remaining inventory then stock no more e-cigarettes or related products

It still sells cigarettes, which health officials say are responsible for but raised the purchasing age to 21 in May
