Low Humidity & Wildfires seem to be hand in hand around here.Oh yeah, we're also in a mini-drought since the first of the year, annual rainfall 8 inches behind average. So the high winds (18 - 33 mph) from the NorthWest have pushed the wildfire South of I-10 near Milton FL. Homes near Garcon Point are being evacuated. It's gonna be a mess!
TWO fires in different counties; 500 acres & 17 homes gone in one, 2,200 acres & 38 homes destroyed in the other. Neither is over 30% contained.
Smaller fire is 75% contained, still no rain.
Both fires now 95% contained, still no rain but winds have subsided. Humidity still staying below 50% (that AIN'T normal for FLA!).
