<,Here's a kick in the head-
For about a year and a half, I have been surfing my credit card balances to get the lowest rate
possible. This is about $11,000 on 3-4 cards. Needless to say, my credit report suffered some hits.
Well, on my latest attempt to transfer a balance, I got rejected. Not because I have poor credit or
that I have insufficient income, but because I have too many hits on my report. Now I am stuck with
this high rate.

Could this rejection be related to the recent postings regarding consumer debt and how Americans
are paying off their cards more frequently? Are the credit card companies raising the bar for
qualifying for their cards already??

I mean I have perfect credit and have never been rejected for anything. Can you tell that I am taking
this personally?

Guess what! That rejection now qualifies you for a free copy of your credit report! Take advantage of it and make sure there is no inaccurate information on your report.

Have you actually been APPLYING for these lower-rate cards, or just getting the information? Unless you're actually applying, I don't think those "hits" should count against you on an application.

Let us know how it goes!

Jedi in orbit.
