<<I have met with an advisor/broker who is a vice-president of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter who has set up a senario of withdrawals and investments in Mutual funds offered by his company.>>

Run, do not walk, away from them. Do not answer your phone and do not return any of their calls. Return all mail from them marked "deceased, return to sender".

They are out to skin you alive!

Nothing they will ever do for you will ever make up for the cost of doing business with them.

You are not dealing with an "advisor", but rather with a salesman who makes his or her living by selling you something and you have not a clue or idea just how deceitful and misleading some of their high volume and most highly paid salesman can often be, and are so well paid and therefore encouraged to be.

They may well have more "vice presidents" than most dogs have fleas. The title means nothing and they are always trying to find ways to disguise their salesmen as something other than what they really are.

Although you may occasionally, and often accidentally or incidentially, be told some readily elsewhere available truth, their primary goal is to extract the maximum from you and you cannot afford to do business with them.

If you feel the need of their form of "hand holding", please first consider some form of professional therapy becasuse that should prove to be much more economical in the long run.

P.S. There may be worse out there, but few are any slicker.
