<< I'm paying for life insurance, health insurance, and retirement planning. >>

You are a salaried white collar worker and you pay 100% of the costs of this? Your company doesn't contribute anything? What industry are you in, because I want to tell my kids to avoid it.

Uh, I've got news for you. Other than health insurance, many if not most employers do not pay for their employees "retirement planning", and the only break they get on health insurance is group term rates (if that).

<< I'm not saying that buyers' needs are so well addressed. I'm saying because of how the commission is paid, there is no incentive for buyers to go without an agent. >>

If their needs were not being addressed, there would be incentive to do it another way. Since there is no incentive, their needs are being addressed.
