<<Breitbart News contacted New Jersey State Police on Monday to ask how they planned to enforce the newly enacted ban.

The basis for the question about house-to-house checks is that Americans always fear Second Amendment prohibitions will lead to knocks on their doors.

The NJ State Police refused to rule out house-to-house checks. Rather, they responded: “We do not discuss enforcement strategies.”

Breitbart News also reached out to Gov. Phil Murphy’s (D) press secretary Daniel Bryan about enforcement of the ban. As of the publication of this article Bryan had not ruled out house-to-house enforcement of the ban either.">>

I hate to say it about a fine public service medium like Breitbart, but this is just junk reporting.

Police are no more able to go door to dor to find prohibited pistol magazines than they are to find marijuana.

What can happen is that if police have probable cause to search a house, they might bring charges if they find a prohibited object or drug. Or if police can see such an article in a car, or find such an article when someone is arrested, that can become the basis for a charge.

But house-to-house searches ----- please.

Now if New Jersey really WAS a gestapo state, you'd be telling me how the Brown Shirts were routinely grabbing marginalized citizens and beating the crap out of them until they turned in friends or family members, and then held that person while they broke into the homes and ransacked them or simply beat people up and hauled them off to concentration camps, charges or no charges.

That's the way a real Gestapo state operates.

I don't care for it when ignorant fools call Trump a Nazi, and I hereby lodge a protest against doing the same thing to my liberal friends living in New Jersey.
