He wasn't happy with me making him release it. All those attempts and efforts to "finally" catch one, and I made him let it go. *sigh...poor puppy*

My father had several West Highland White Terriers, who used to chase squirrels in his yard. The squirrels loved to tease the dogs.

One got a little too cocky and fell off a tree branch. The dogs got it in an instant. I'm sure they never looked for "permission" to kill it.

Personally, I'd root for the dogs! The odds against them catching anything are long, but if they do, they deserve their reward.

I'm betting we are going to hear more ideas for squirrel hunting from Art. I'm sure he's a MUCH more effective squirrel hunter than any dog I've heard of.
