<<<<I don't know if all credit unions are alike in this, but when I tried to get my rate lowered on the card I had through my credit union, they told me that the 12% rate I had was as low as they could go. The person explained to me that they had a smaller range of rates for members - they wouldn't jump as high or as fast as other banks for a late payment etc. but the flip side was they didn't offer very low rates either. Made sense to me. >>>>>


Our ccs thru the cu are at 7.9% which isn't great but it beats 11.9%
Also there is no minimum monthly payment requirement.
