<<Okay, now I know what they are but why 10-Q or 10-K. Why not 1-Q, 2-Q, 3-Q and "annual report"? What is the "10", the "Q", and the "K" suppose to stand for? (I'm assuming that "Q" stands for "Quarter")>>

Well, I don't really know. I'd suspect that 10-Q uses Q for quarter. But I've no idea. Why do truckers say 10-40? (Do they still do that?) Why is the main tax form a 1040 instead of a "1"?

Cheers!
