Er. . . actually, no, it doesn't. IOM's product line emphasizes "personal storage solutions," not network or enterprise storage solutions. The idea behind network storage is to centralize data storage, and work on accessiblity through different access points. IOM emphasizes individualized storage on media which may then be physically transported and shared. Sounds to me like a totally different market, although there may be some overlap.

Sun is a good company but is working on a different model, IMO.
