<Maybe this subject has been addressed on these boards already, but does anyone think it is possible to combine the Foolish Four method of investing with the Drip method?>

Well, I've addressed this about a half dozen times on the F4 board...guess it shouldn't suprise me that I've got to address it here, too.

DRiPs DO NOT work with the F4/RP4 for several reasons.

1. DRiPs are long term buy and hold. F4/RP4 is 1 year buy and sell.

2. F4/RP4 is lump sum buy. DRiPs are purchased a little at a time.

3. With the F4/RP4, you figure out what to buy the next day after the day's close. Then you buy the next day. Using a DRiP, you'd be buying the first share 4-6 weeks after you figured out which stocks were in the current F4/ which time the entire list could have changed and you would not be buying the F4 for the day of purchase.

Just a few of the reasons you don't DRiP the F4/RP4.
