<there is still no real evidence of, well, much of anything significant about Russiagate.>

The idea was never really about proving that the Russians colluded with Trump to defeat Hillary, It was all about prolonging things to make it more difficult for Trump to get all the things done that he wanted to do and was elected to do.

It could not happen without the media fully buying in to the idea. If you can stomach watching a mixture of the evening news programs, almost every story is framed in a way to diminish the Trump administration. Even when they broadcast some parts of a story that are true, they deliberately leave out parts that run counter to the storyline.

One simple case in point. I saw a number of prominent stories where soybean farmers in the Midwest expressed their concern with Trump's China trade policy as their livelihood depends on selling that product to China, their number one volume customer. That was a valid concern on their part. Yet the stories were not counterbalanced by defining China's predatory behavior over the last several decades. Unreported is that as a direct result of the December 1st meeting, China has begun placing new large orders for soybeans. All we hear on the subject is crickets and cries of "Russia, Russia, Russia".

I believe that the media and the democrats really want to see America fail rather than EVER giving Trump credit for anything. None of their elected officials have put forth anything that the average citizen could say "hey, those are well thought out ideas that I could enthusiastically get behind". All we get is more identity politics, political correctness, calls for no borders and economic theories that have long failed.

As for the Mueller stuff, the average person is puzzled. They wonder why so much effort has been spent looking at one side of the issue while clear questionable behavior (pay for play at the Clinton foundation, 33k missing emails, hacked top secret emails, grants of immunity without anything given in return, exonerations written before interviewing witnesses, interviews that were not recorded or transcribed, etc). We have the countless emails from Strzock who displayed an enormous bias in favor of Clinton and against Trump leading the DOJ investigation. There is such a stench coming out of Meuller, the FBI, the DOJ and entreched elements of the state department that nothing emanating from them is clean or believable.

Trump has turned the establishment upside down. Unelected bureaucrats have attempted to overrule the will of the people. Elected people like Paul Ryan have managed to stall many things that Trump has wanted congress to act on. He could have assured that money for that wall was put into the budget. He was a leader who did not lead. The media grossly distorts the news on a daily basis. None of this serves the country's best interests. The swamp has been full for a long time. Sadly, it has long had a bipartisan population.
