They all deserve a bid, but only one will get it. Automatic bids take away from the game. That is my point, There should be no "BCS Conferences", just "BCS teams"

However, the underlying fact surrounding the BCS is that it was started by the Conferences involved, with or without ABC's input, influence or whatever, to benefit the members of their conferences.

So, why then, is it incumbent upon them to include other teams in the Bowls connected with their organization, the BCS?

I fully understand that it's not fair to some teams, but, IMHO, that's life; the way the cookie crumbles.

Now if the NCAA could ever get everyone on the same page, just as for basketball, I'd be for it. A true Championship. But I don't believe that could be as easily done as in other sports, even if it's done in the lower divisions of the NCAA in football. I don't think it could be translated into I-A easily and successfully.
