I recently came across a company, and it's a superstar, in my opinion. Check out Everbridge Inc. (NASDAQ: EVBG). Everbridge is the world's leading provider of integrated critical event management solutions. It helps businesses and governments "rapidly respond" to critical events, such as active shooter situations, terrorist attacks, IT outages, cyber attacks, and so forth... so it falls into the category of making the world a better/safer place, which I'm all about. Here's a video that explains what it does: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8Bo3wCq5OI&feature=yout...

And check out this breakdown of its current customer base (it's impressive):

+ Over 3,700 Global Customers
+ Nine of the 10 largest U.S. cities
+ Nine of the 10 largest U.S. investment banks
+ All four of the largest global accounting firms
+ 25 of the 25 busiest North American airports
+ Six of the 10 largest global consulting firms
+ Six of the top 10 ranked U.S. universities
+ Four of the 10 largest U.S.-based healthcare
providers
+ Four of the 10 largest U.S.-based health
insurers
+ Five of the 10 largest pharmaceutical
companies
+ Seven of the 10 largest U.S.-based software
companies
+ Over 1,000 U.S.-based hospitals

The company's financial performance in 2017 was also a thing of beauty, including the addition of 506 customers (highlighted by the New York City Emergency Management Department) and revenue growth of 36%. It's not profitable as of now, but it's not operating at a massive loss, which is fantastic for a company that's growing its revenues at a +30% clip. Its outlook on 2018 is also very strong, calling for revenue growth of 29.9%-31.3%, and it seems to have a track record of exceeding the high end of its own expectations #UnderpromiseOverdeliver. I'd give a more thorough breakdown, but I don't want to clutter the board.

Let me know what you all think!

(Disclosure: I started a small position this morning)
