Can anyone tell me if funds contributed toward my 401(k) via company match is counted when determining if my contributions exceed the $10,500 annual maximum?
I'd like to bring my contributions up to the maximum without exceeding it and/or incurring any penalty. My company matches the first 4% of contributions.

Thanks.

Aleph,

Don't worry. The limit is only on the part that you put in, not the employer match.
Go for the max!!
