Totally agree. I realized this last year with another online bank. Funds are removed from the account on the specified dates regardless of whether the check was sent out electronically, or via snail mail. Even if the snail mail check was never cashed, the funds are still removed from your account.

Let's say it is never cashed. How do you get it back? Hopefully, not via a "stop payment" request, which is pricey, but anyway, that's not the point of this.

I sent a letter to every Senator and house representative that I could find on banking committees, and recommend others to do the same. If the check is sent out via snail mail, the funds should not be removed from the accounts, until it's cashed.
