First thank you for your input on my question "when to start Medicare part B"

a second question: I've been seeing many ad on TV mentioning the December 7 deadline,
that deadline is for doing what ?

a related question: my wife is 67, has Medicare part A, B and F for the lst 2 years
She does not want to make any change - Does she need to re-enrole or do anything ?

thanks

Open enrollment for 2020 - you can choose your coverage for next year.

She should check with her insurance provider before Dec 7 to ensure that everything that she's signed up for is still available and medicare approved. One year, my Mom didn't bother to check with her provider, and it turned out that the drug plan she'd signed up for was no longer medicare approved. But because she didn't check, she didn't get changed to a medicare approved plan, and ended up paying a lot more for her prescriptions.
