While I applaud your ethical approach, I find it difficult enough to keep track of a company's profitability and then to follow their charts for appropriate TA entry and exit points. I don't buy tobacco companies, but that's because I know they are tobacco companies.

Other than that, I buy companies who have meet my FA and TA criteria. If they are really unscrupulous, and get caught doing something illegal, they will likely suffer a loss in the market, and my stop loss orders would be hit.

Now on the other hand, lety me ask the question this way..... Would you short companies that have been caught doing something illegal/unethical?
