Look into "IntelliChoice"---they evaluate and report on what it really costs to own a car long-term, taking into consideration depreciation, maintenance, repair, insurance, state fees, fuel and financing costs by vehicle class for virtually every car sold in the U.S.

FYI: Honda usually ranks the best.
