The day after I drove my new Nissan Altima SE off of the dealers lot, I noticed I had a nail in the drivers side rear tire. When I took the car to be serviced by a local repair shop, they said the tire was not repairable because the nail was too close to the sidewall. The dealer I bought the car from is telling me that I have to pay for a new tire. I'm having a hard time with that idea. The tire didn't even have 70 miles on it. In addition, Bridgestone-Firestone says their warranty does not cover roadside hazzards. Any advice on how to handle this is greatly appreciated.
