Ok, when I'm spinning from my hand carded rolags, I'm doing darn well, if I do say so myself. My yarn is getting thin, my technique feels smooth, the yard is getting more consistant. But the yarn is scratchy, because it's from rolags.

Spinning from the commercially processed roving is supposed to make a smoother, silkier yarn, but it takes a different . . . hand/technique. I'm not doing as well with this. Very inconsistant, dropping the spindle, not drafting smoothly.

Ah, well, this is what I'm hoping that class will help me with. But it doesn't start until May 3!!! Argh!!
