Hi - you might want to consider adding the definition of 'Float' as applied to equities as it pops up often in considering the risk of a company's stock. Here's what Yahooo has to say: "Number of shares of a corporation that are outstanding and available for trading by the public, excluding insiders or restricted stock on a when-issued basis.
