In May Al Qaeda called upon its followers to unleash massive forest fires upon the United States. This year we had the worst spate of wildfires I can remember, including one that threatened to eat up a pretty large chunk of Colorado Springs. Now, the climate conditions were ripe for that -- too dry and windy, etc. -- but the possibility never occurred to me that Islamist terrorists might have been responsible for at least some of the fires. Yikes. What if... |
