Happy 10 year balloon day!

To return a Mopar trans from automanual to automatic, just hold the shifter to the right for a couple of seconds. It's not obvious or intuitive, but it is in the manual.

All of the retro pony cars are ridiculously underdeveloped, overstyled, oversize, overwrought, and overweight. So, I agree with your conclusions. With these cars, each of the big 3 had a perfect opportunity to produce the real sports car that all of the car guys working there have dreamed of making. The score? Zero for 3. It's true that the Ford and Chevy perform up to the standard of the day, but it takes a zillion horsepower to push all of that flab around, and it's all over when you turn the steering wheel.
