That shouldn't be the case. Do you have cookies blocked in your browser so that TMF cannot register that you have been logged into the site?

It happens to me, unpredictably, when using Firefox on my iPhone. When I start Firefox on the phone there are always three windows open, one of them the TMF boards. That one is always rooted at my Favorite Boards link (, though it may be a level or two in (a particular board, or a message in the board). I can go for weeks without logging in, then be stopped in my tracks by the system insisting I have to log in. To add to the strangeness, I can often open another window within the same browser, follow that link to my favorite boards, and read messages in that window without logging in!!!! At the same time that the other window won't let me do anything.

Other times when I can't login on my phone no matter what I try it will offer to text me a code. When I agree to that, and it texts me some sort of code that I copy and paste into the appropriate place in the browser window I get in.

(No, cookies are not blocked.)
