Yes, I get that it is not free, but if I don't have your insurance, it doesn't help me get them for free, now does it. Choosing to use a different meter and strips is your choice. If your current meter software offers a benefit others do not offer, then that is a choice you have to make. I know the software provided by the manufacturer was changed in the last year. Their new software reads the meter and then sends it into their online server. It is not saved on my computer and there is no way to do so. I had a LONG talk with their "lack of technical support" department. Then I promptly deleted their new software and will keep using their old software. I do not want anything from my system uploaded anywhere unless I approve it.
