Just today I visted Hasbro's headquarters in Mexico for an upcoming project. Owing some HAS shares, I asked several questions to see what were their expectations of the Mexican market, which even if it doesn't have enormous buying power, is extremely big in itself. The HAS people were very enthusiastic about their outlook for 1999. Obviously TFM is expected to be a very big hit in Mexico when it opens in July, and they are just introducing Pokemon and Furby, which they think will be great sellers. Even so, some of the local projects that they are working on are poised to be big.
