"I just did my first Rule Maker anlaysis for RF Micro Devices. Can someone double check my numbers. They crush the criteria in Sales growth with a growth of 236%. Net Margins are 12.8% (better than the goal of >7%) and Cash to Debt of 8.6 (significantly beeter than the goal of >1.5) They fall a little short in Net
Margins (35% vs. goal of 50%) and Flow Ratio (1.97 vs goal of <1.25)"

I got the following from their 10-Q for quarter ending 12/31/99:
Sales Growth: 73% (2 pts.)
Gross Margin: 49% (0 pts.)
Net Margin: 17% (2 pts.)
Cash-Debt Ratio: 5.47 (2 pts.)
Flowie: 2.34 (0 pts.)

Total of 6 points for financial criteria. It could just barely squeak in depending on the qualitative points, but from, I got TTM Sales of $247M, way short of the $1B minimum for Rule Makers.

IIRC, this company may have appeared on the Foolish 8 screen.
