mhsiao858: "This is my first post here. My Dad passed away on Dec 15th, 2020. He was 77 years old. He left me about $200K from his IRA."

I am so sorry for your loss; my condolences to you and your family.

I second the suggestion to ask on the Tax board, and I suspect that your options may be fairly limited other than possibly considering how the expiration of djt's Tax Cut and Jobs Act at the end of 2025 and the scheduled return of the statutory rates of 10 percent, 15 percent, 25 percent, 28 percent, 33 percent, 35 percent, and 39.6 percent, unless tax code is amended again, might affect your decision making.

Regards, JAFO
