Mike's suggestions are good ones, I use them all myself as I navigate the site. I regularly pursue every TMF board that has to do with a company i follow, and using those red "favorite board" hearts to add them to my list on is the easiest way I know to aggregate the stuff that interests me.

One other way of personalizing the service is to start utilizing My Scorecard. any ticker you add there will set you up to view all TMF message boards in a running news stream underneath your scorecard on this page:

MFOne gives great access, and aggregation of advice in some ways (like the monthly Top Recs where the ONE crew looks at the whole newsletter universe and provides rankings based on their own analysis: Most of the newsletter advisors will frequent the MFOne boards (or will come over when prompted by a ONE analyst seeing your question and shooting a note over to the relevant advisor) and answer any questions that are asked over there, so if you're feeling overwhelmed by the selection it may be best to establish the MFOne site and msg boards as your "home base" ( and just let all of us come to you. That'll get you one-stop shop access to all the TMF crew, though you'll then be missing out on the community that's developed within each newsletter.

I realize that each service has different goals and objectives, but there is an incredible opportunity for synergy. E.g. a small company with great growth potential should be an option target. A blue chip with steady growth should also be an option target. A newcomer with innovation should be a new equity acquire.. And on and on..

Yeah, each service will remain siloed given the different advisors and philosophies utilized (and the unique community present within each). but what you describe re: synergy takes place regularly at FoolHQ, as analysts develop their own ideas or start following current picks, pitch them to other analysts and to the various advisors, and the MDP/Options/Supernova crews in particular looks over the other services and develops their own opinions on whether to piggy-back on the recs and establish derivative positions. As for member conversations of a similar nature, I think a little of that takes place in various places (again, not clean, you gotta find your way around, or just ask…); amongst SA members, for instance, there's a pretty vibrant Options board -
