The news is that AMS has just settled with the state of Mississippi for something in the ballpark of $25M. I see this as good news. 5% or so of the damages awarded, and AMS saves all those lawyers' fees and bad publicity. I imagine the cash will come out of earnings for the next quarter or two. I'm buying in, if I can get my shares for under $20 each.

AMS is a growing company, despite already being one of the 20 biggest consulting firms in the country. They're also, I hear, one of the best consulting firms to work for. They've got some good, solid relationships (with Microsoft, e.g.) on the software development side as well. I'm looking to stay in medium-to-long term (at least 3 years). Opinions?
