The following ML report answers a few questions about EMC's NAS business, including the fact that EMC's NAS (i.e., Celerra) revenues include sales of Symmetrix boxes:

We believe [EMC] will debut its standalone network-attached storage (NAS) product (acquired from Data General) in spring. Management is turning its focus to NAS to compete with Network Appliance. Celerra sales in 1999 were approximately $300 million but those figures include the required Symmetrix systems. EMC will tout its service capability as a key differentiator, but if the storage market moves to NAS, we believe it's not a good thing for EMC.
