How does one know whether one has to file a return in states where a MLP operates? Is there some income limit that must be exceeded. I have never seen a K-1 that shows a breakdown of state-by-state activity. I hope someone can point me in the right direction as I have been looking for an answer to this question for a long time.

Thanks
