We have discussed MNR intermittently over the years. Many of us have positions in it. Its high dividend has been flat for years and it has been more like holding a bond than a stock.
It is now well off from its high for the year and is currently yielding 6%. Brad Thomas on Seeking Alpha has very recently written a very positive piece on MNR.
What has held me back from taking a larger position is that I could not find any research on it.
Today I stumbled on a report by BMO Bank of Montreal.
Go get it now in case it is taken down. It is a large PDF file

This report has outperform ratings on MNR, ROIC and two Canadian utilities which I like and if you hold in an IRA there is no 15% withholding of the dividend -Algonquin Power and Northland Power.
