Mobile homes take a bad rap. Lot of them are anchored, have pools, screen porches front & back and are darn nice.

You get down to Florida, in this case St. Cloud, and some of the mobile home communities are darn nice. I imagine the same is true for any relatively warm weather state. - lowstudent

I figure one of the worst things about a mobile home is they depreciate rather quickly with age, but hey, what difference would that make when I'm old? I'll be depreciating rather quickly myself by then. I'd live in a mobile home in Florida in a heartbeat. Being able to go to the Pier and go fishing in the ocean whenever I want, ride bicycles where it's flat, and not having cold wet winters & snow to contend with, would be well worth it.

My problem is that my wife has said that she'd never want to live in a mobile home. There's no getting around that. - Art
