I have recently read the book "Moneyball". Fascinating book that illustrates how statistical and scientific reasoning can be applied to the game of baseball. I'm wondering if anyone else out there has read the book and has had ideas like I do in regards to applying these types of theories to football. I'm a coach and would like to determine some key measurements of success that hold up under statistical analysis.
Ideas?
