I recently moved from the bay area to los angeles to attend law school. My question is: If you move to go to graduate school, does that count as having a new 'job location'? I'm not sure if I can deduct my moving expenses.

Lamont,

Not unless you are an instructor (paid) there.
There might be some "putting up with the smog" deduction. ;-)

Nope. Not even if school includes part-time work as an instructor.

It'd be a different story if you were a part-time student with a full-time job, though.
