For a while now I've been considering moving from NJ to PA. I had been looking mainly in the Northampton County area, but recently I've also become interested in the Jim Thorpe area.

My plan is to maintain my relatively inexpensive apartment in South Jersey (Philly area) but establish residence in PA. To that end I would need a place I could occupy at least 183 days a year.

I've looked at some interesting properties on Zillow, but most have large lots. At the ripe old age of 60 I'd rather not have to worry about cutting a half acre of lawn.

I think condo or townhouse communities might be the best bet.

I'm open to any suggestions from locals.
