Dear Fooldom,

I'm surprised to not find much on MSA's on the Motley Fool web site or message areas. From what I've read they are a great tool for savings, investing, and retirement.

So far, from what I've read, they are not only tax deductable and the income grows tax free, but the withdrawals, if used for medical expenses (and who doesn't have medical expenses when old, grey, and retired?), are not taxed! That means no tax EVER on these funds!!! Am I reading this correctly? If so, why isn't there a lot more interest about MSA's in Fooldom?
