My apologies. The Social Security benefit isn’t much, less than my Medicare premiums, and I’m sure their numbers are correct. Now that I’ve done the amended return, the difference for having received about $800 more than had been stipulated for my 2018 returns originally will be an additional income tax burden of less than $200. I’m going to send in the returns with payment shortly.
