My daughter's office just sent out an email saying Nov 1, return to the office. She set up a wonderful home office and loves working remotely from it. She had received permission from her supervisor to change her remote status to my house, so she could visit for a long time. We are both bummed.

Spent yesterday hanging out in my Honda dealerships lounge while my car was being serviced. When i bought that car in late December, cars were stacked up. Now there is a pitiful few on the lot. Same with the UHaul trucking business. Seriously nothing much on the lot.good news is the new washing machine I ordered about three months ago arrives today. The new couch and chair i have ordered will be here in July , hopefully.

I am not going to Costco and stock up. But I will say ordering from Amazon is no longer a given. Out of four items, two were now available. I talking about ordinary stuff that should b e available given the growing season.

I have had my brother who I inherited when my parents died, has been signed up for years at a section 8 housing site. Covid has changed the movement of people out of these sites. Grandparents are staying there longer, sicker seniors who should be in nursing homes are staying there longer. They don’t want to risk giving or getting Covid.
