My experience with abortion includes walking with several women though the unconsolable grief and horrific guilt and confusion that came forth when the reality of the deaths of their children sank in.

Yes, I'm not denying that those women felt that way. Or that you agreed with their self-assessment. I'm suggesting that women who do NOT feel that way probably never talk to you about their abortions. So your view of the emotional aftermath of abortion is skewed. I would even guess that there are women you know and have ministered to for other things who have had abortions and wouldn't ever consider telling you about it because they know what your opinion is. You view abortion as worse than rape, since you believe that there is blame attached to the one and not the other. Knowing that about you, I would not ask you to minister to me after an abortion unless I agreed with you.

Again, I'm not criticizing you for your belief or for how you've ministered to those women. I'm only saying that your view that women feel worse after abortion than after rape is based on a very specific sampling of women that I don't believe is representative of women in general.
