After 8 cashes in 10 events over three days, I was surely set up for a fall from grace. I started the day with two OTMs in my bread and butter 10-table SNGs (32nd and 30th of 90). Then I tried the two pokerstars vigless late night MTTs. At $.50 I finished 650 of 1870 when QQ cracked my KK on the turn. Then, in the late $.25 I was doing astoundingly well. It was the first time I have finished in the top 5% of a real money tournament with over 90 entrants. I knew I was in for a good day when at some point over a half hour into the 2780-entrant MTT I looked up and saw I was in sixth place on the leaderboard with about 10K chips (1.5K to start). I finished 96th, which was a bit disappointing because I needed to finish in 72nd to break even for the day after my three earlier losses. If it weren't for this nightmare hand I think I would have broken even:

Maybe I should have come over the top pre-flop since it was heads up, but I am not so sure. Probably, more just a tough beat.
