In the 1980's (the Decade of Greed, to the left), Bob Hope was entertaining our men and women in uniform around the world, Johnny Cash was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and a young Steve Jobs was leading an upstart outfit called Apple Computer.

Barack Obama was, according to one of his autobiographies, probably getting stoned somewhere.

Today, Barack Obama is President, and under his watch, our national debt is at an all-time high (for any country in history), and our labor force participation rate is abysmal.

So, we have No Cash, No Jobs and No Hope.

And the left wonders why some people are nostalgic.
