My immediate thought was how similar Direct Motion is to Speeding. But, while the latter gives me the feeling of a day in late winter/early spring, the new work has a much richer feel. More like a mid-summer day when everything is growing strong.

I'm curious. Does the similarity between the two pieces reflect a different view you had of a single image, or does it represent, in your mind, a "re-do" of work you may not have liked earlier? Or am I alone in trying to force the two works together?

Still love Hanging On the best, though. I still can't get the word "dancing" out of my head every time I look at it. I adore that piece.
