My last new car was one of the weekend "come on" deals they offer on a car or two to bring in customers. The salesman got so frustrated in my refusal to pay for one single addition to the price, that when we got to refusing the extended warranty, he exclaimed "If this car needs repairs you'll need to take out a mortgage to pay for it"

Amusing, seeing that I was sitting there with a pile of cash. The service department and Subaru headquarters found it less amusing when I quoted it back to them.
