My mom wanted one of those tubs so badly when she was still living at home. She has a ton of joint issues and thought soaking in a hot bath would help, and it may have. She couldn’t get in and out of a regular tub.

We priced them, from one of those companies that advertises all the time—it was over $20k to do everything they wanted to do. I was pretty sure it was a rip off and suggested maybe we get a price from Home Depot. It never went any further....

I looked at a couple houses that had them, and of course the immediate thought it—“that’s the first thing to go!”

I have a fancy jacuzzi in my bathroom. Have used it exactly once in a year and a half. Not my thing at all. But I love my shower!
