My personal opinion is that people get a bit mental about laundry when traveling. Worked with a woman years ago who went to Hawai'i for something over a week and took two changes of clothes per day -- a minimum of 14 outfits. Insanity, IMO.

I'll confess to having packed like this in the past. I generally don't plan to do laundry for less than a 10 day trip and always overestimate the number of places I'll go. I always think I need something for a nice dinner out, if it gets cool at night, that I'm going to swim everyday, etc.

I'm getting better but I'm still not where I need/want to be. I definitely need more travel/easily washable clothes but brands like ExOfficio can be a bit pricey.
